Tim Stafford Surfboards

Mostly bonzer inspired creations, made in Cornwall. Designed, shaped, glassed, sanded, finned and finished by Tim Stafford.

I make boards that are easy to ride, that feel natural under foot. Most aren't conventional but they will help you reach that point where you stop thinking about what's under your feet and start to focus on where you want to go and how you want to get there. Why bonzers?

Always happy to chat about your needs and what would work for you but please initiate contact by email or Facebook... details on www.timstaffordsurfboards.com | Ride and glide.

SupaGlide gets it bottom tinted…

Glassed the bottom of the SupaGlide today… went for an amber base with a red/amber/black swirl on the nose. Glassing the deck on Friday and debating the raw-lap route in dark amber. Its going to get double pinlines on the deck and some on the bottom to bring out the tri-hull… probably some custom pen-work too… It’s going to be a single fin with a 10” box.

GP Campbell Bothers Lightvehicles

Malcolm shaped this beauty for Guy Penwarden – happy camper seen here clutching his new Bonzer Light Vehicle… and that’s Malcolm Campbell in the foreground asking when the tea lady is coming round, Nigel Semmens thinking about picking Daz up off the floor after he heard how many more bonzers he has to sand and polish! Talking of Malcolm – he’s only here until Monday so if you want one this trip you need to get your skates on and get in touch via the factory

SupaGlide en route…

Shaped this evening – really pleased with how it came out. I wanted to create a short longboard that would glide and carve really easily from where-ever you stand on the board. The widse point is quite rear of middle to enable this preventing the rails digging in as they would with a more nose riding oriented template.

PS That's what I call well trained – more interested in a board than the bone next to it!
