Tim Stafford Surfboards

Mostly bonzer inspired creations, made in Cornwall. Designed, shaped, glassed, sanded, finned and finished by Tim Stafford.

I make boards that are easy to ride, that feel natural under foot. Most aren't conventional but they will help you reach that point where you stop thinking about what's under your feet and start to focus on where you want to go and how you want to get there. Why bonzers?

Always happy to chat about your needs and what would work for you but please initiate contact by email or Facebook... details on www.timstaffordsurfboards.com | Ride and glide.

RESIN CONSPIRACY

Epoxy gel-time conspiracy. The new quick cure epoxy just wasn’t quick enough for the two fish due to show at the European Fish Fry in Crackington Haven this weekend. I needed just 24 more hours to finish both…P1080144 P1080139

Frying time

This is the board I am working on for the Fry BUT epoxy cure times are now totally stuffing me and with 2 days left and 3 days curing time required it’s not ,looking promising… so it is touch and go if it will be showing, if so probably without fins!

This is the 5’11 Freak Fish with kevlar/carbon bottom. Wood parabolic rails, wood deck with an epoxy wrap. Here i had just glassed a strip along the rails and deck to give the parabolics something firm to adhere to. Next week I get some wood on.
