Served up some fun steep walls this morning at first light. No suffering from spaghetti arms. Should have taken a pic but then you’d be able to suss out where it was!!! Rode my 6’6” Campbell Bros POD… was a fun board well suited t o the wave…

EVO 5

Going to be doing a bonzer 5 with a bit of a twist here – front set at 18 degrees and the rear set at 9 to allow optimum thrust at different angles of lean… I’ll feed back on this new fin set up soon.

Freak Fish rides again…

Thanks to Daz the FreakFish finally got back in the water last night on the big swell that hit the North Coast. Re-christening was at South Fistral and later in the middle. Some sizable chunks of blue coming through and the board went beautifully… which for a 5’11 in well overhead was a pleasant surprise :P

On another note I'm glassing Anthony’s Cleanline tonight – he’s fallen in love with the SupaGlide Jurassic Amber tint – sop looks like we going to be getting all T-Rex again…

Hot coat, pen-artwork, and gloss and polish to go. Should see the Supaglide 8’2” single fin tri-hull entering the water sometime towards the end of the month.

We are going to use Malcolm's traditional 5 fin set up on this board. It’s designed for the well overhead+ range, mainly for those special days in the UK and the odd travel trip…

the first EVO

I rode the first EVO3 again this weekend. It was designed with Nigel as a travel board to get in nice and early and draw classic lines… It also saw the rebirth of the old Ocean Magic logo. Anyways, sloppy overhead onshore wasn’t the ideal testing ground but it was still fun.
